Timing Analysis

To run timing analysis, the design should be compiled with the Timing SNF Extractor option (see Section 4.2). The Timing Analyzer can be started with the command:

MAX+plus II -> Timing Analyzer

When the Timing Analyzer window shows up, select the option:

Analysis -> Registered Performance

In the Timing Analyzer window, press the Start button. After the analysis is complete, you may select one of the clock signals in the Clock box to see the maximum frequency and minimum period for that clock.
