Grouping Nodes

A number of nodes may be combined into a single group that is displayed as a single waveform in the Waveform Editor window. Grouping is especially useful for bus signals. To group nodes, first highlight the nodes by clicking on them in the Name column of the Waveform Editor window. Multiple nodes may be selected by holding down the Shift key or by clicking and dragging across a group of nodes. Once the nodes are selected, use the command:

Node -> Enter Group
You will then need to enter a name for the group and choose the radix (binary, decimal, octal, or hexadecimal) for viewing the waveform. The naming convention for a group is similar to that of a bus, i.e., GROUPNAME[i..j] where i and j are integers.
